What radio stations ask about AutoDJ

No. AutoDJ runs on XtreamCast cloud infrastructure and pushes the signal directly to your channel SHOUTcast server. You can turn your computer off and your station stays on air day and night, with no software to install.
You can upload MP3, AAC and M4A from the panel, organized into folders. Metadata (title, artist, album and duration) is read automatically from ID3 tags. Every channel also includes its own FTP access for bulk-uploading entire libraries.
Yes. The calendar supports one-off or recurring slots per day of the week, with start time, end time and time zone. For example: a morning show from 8 to 10 on weekdays and a countdown on Saturdays from 8 to 10 pm. When each slot ends, AutoDJ returns to the previous playlist on its own.
Through rules that are independent from your playlists. "Every N songs" mode (1 to 100) plays the spot between tracks without cutting anything. "Every N minutes" mode (1 to 240) interrupts the song, plays the break and resumes exactly where it left off. You can air the full break or one rotating spot, with shuffle and priority.
Automatic arbitration handles it: when you connect your live encoder, AutoDJ steps aside; if your live stream disconnects, AutoDJ resumes on its own (optional autoStart). Your signal is never left in silence.
