How your stream travels
Six stages, from encoder to viewer. The ABR Transcoder and the Global CDN are added as add-ons when your channel needs them.
- 01 Capture H.264 · AAC Your encoder (OBS, vMix, Wirecast, LiveU Solo or FFmpeg) sends the feed in H.264 and AAC, at the bitrate your uplink can sustain.
- 02 Ingest RTMP · SRT Publish over RTMP or over SRT as caller. The panel's ingest diagnostics show protocol, codecs, keyframe, fps and bitrate every 10 s.
- 03 Origin Media server XtreamCast The channel lives on its origin, in Chile or North America, under continuous monitoring: if the engine or an HLS session freezes, it restarts on its own.
- 04 Processing ABR · add-on The ABR Transcoder passes the original quality through without re-encoding, plus 720p, 480p and 240p, with aligned keyframes.
- 05 Delivery HLS · Global CDN HLS delivery from the origin is included in every paid plan. With the Global CDN, segments are served from the PoPs of our CDN providers.
- 06 Viewer Player · HTTPS Branded HTML5 player over HTTPS, with analytics for unique viewers, peak, average watch time, countries and devices.

Each channel lives on one origin, in Chile or North America. Continuous monitoring checks the engine and every HLS session: if anything freezes, it is restarted with no manual intervention, your encoder reconnects on its own and Live Stations resume after a restart.

What happens when you press play
From play to the first segment: the player requests the HLS manifest, downloads the segments and, with the ABR Transcoder, adapts quality to each viewer's network.

Two origins, one clear home

Sized capacity
Monthly transfer allowance with alerts at 80% and 100%, no automatic overage charges and instant upgrades from the panel. Per-IP limits designed for audiences behind corporate NAT.
Monitoring and recovery
Every origin is monitored continuously. If the engine or an HLS session freezes, the system restarts it with no manual intervention, your encoder reconnects on its own and Live Stations resume after a restart.
Protected access
SecureToken on HLS, LL-HLS, WebRTC and SRT, country geo-blocking and a domain-restricted player. The panel adds 2FA and per-collaborator permissions.
Diagnostics and alerts
The panel shows your ingest protocol, codecs, keyframe, fps and bitrate every 10 s, and emails you on stream loss, usage, storage or bitrate.
Recording and archive
Recording Cloud records to MP4, with scheduled recordings of up to 12 h, a VOD library and automatic upload to YouTube or Facebook.

CDN and delivery
HLS delivery from the origin is included in every paid plan. The Global CDN add-on, at USD 20/month per channel, adds 119+ PoPs across 77 countries through our providers; the panel integrates Bunny CDN.
