Streaming Channel Management

Learn to manage your streaming channel: the connection data, the software selector, sharing your feed and monitoring your channel in real time.

Streaming Software Selector

In the "Stream Data" tab, the first thing is the streaming software selector:

SoftwareEmbedded CredentialsVisible fields
OBSNoRTMP URL + Stream Key + Username + Password (4 separate fields)
WirecastNoRTMP URL + Stream Key + Username + Password (4 separate fields)
vMixYesRTMP URL with creds + Stream Key (2 fields)
DJIYesRTMP URL with creds + Stream Key (2 fields)
LiveUYesRTMP URL with creds + Stream Key (2 fields)
StreamlabsNoRTMP URL + Stream Key + Username + Password (4 separate fields)
XSplitNoRTMP URL + Stream Key + Username + Password (4 separate fields)
OthersNoRTMP URL + Stream Key + Username + Password (4 separate fields)

When the software uses embedded credentials, the RTMP URL has the format: rtmp://user:password@server:1935/app and you will see a green message: "The credentials are integrated into the server URL".

When it does not use embedded credentials, the RTMP URL is simple: rtmp://server:1935/app and separate fields are shown for Publishing Username and Password.

The Stream Data

RTMP Server URL

Address of your assigned streaming server. It does not change unless you migrate servers.

Stream Key

A unique, non-repeatable key that identifies your specific channel on the server. Do not modify it or change any character.

Username

Authentication credential. Together with the password, it ensures that only you can broadcast on your channel. It is only shown as a separate field for software without embedded credentials.

Publishing Password

Password to authenticate the broadcast. It is critical to your channel's security.

Security: If someone gains access to this data, they could broadcast on your channel and interrupt your stream.
If Username or Password shows "-", your channel does not require those credentials.

Sharing Your Stream

The "Share Stream" tab offers:

HTML Embed Code (iframe)

An <iframe> code ready to paste into any website (WordPress, HTML, Shopify, Wix, etc.). Default dimensions: 640×360. Keep the 16:9 ratio when adjusting.

HLS Playback URL

Direct link to your stream in M3U8 format. Compatible with HLS players, IPTV, Smart TV, VLC.

HLS Playback URL (CDN)

If your channel has CDN enabled and Player v2.0, you will see an additional HLS URL distributed through the global CDN network. Recommended for large audiences.

Web Player URL

Direct link to the web player to share with your audience.

Player Customization (v2.0)

If your channel has Player v2.0, you can customize: control color (default #ff2b76), autoplay, muted, corporate logo (PNG, SVG or WebP, max 100KB) with a custom link.

Real-Time Channel Status

The panel monitors your channel with real-time indicators:

  • Live: The channel is receiving a feed and actively broadcasting
  • Offline: There is no active feed

When you are live, it shows: current viewers vs. limit, input bitrate and bandwidth used vs. plan limit.

TV Station Channels

If your channel is a TV Station type:

  • If Live Station is active playing a playlist, the RTMP stream data is locked. You must stop Live Station first.
  • If Auto-Start is enabled, when your encoder disconnects, Live Station will resume the playlist automatically.
