Control Panel

Getting Started with XtreamCast

Welcome to XtreamCast. This guide walks you through the first steps to set up your channel and start streaming live.

Accessing the Control Panel

Once your service is activated, you can access the control panel with the username and password provided when you signed up for the service.

The Dashboard

The Dashboard is your operations center. Here you will find:

Current Month Statistics

Four cards with key metrics:

  • Total Unique Viewers
  • Peak Concurrent Viewers
  • Bandwidth Used (in GB)
  • Streaming Time (hours/minutes)

Your Channels

Each channel card shows: name, status indicator (Live/Offline), current viewers vs. limit, input bitrate, bandwidth used vs. limit, and a "Manage Channel" button.

Channel Tabs

When you click "Manage Channel", you reach the full view. The available tabs depend on your plan and configuration:

Stream Data

In the "Stream Data" tab you will find a streaming software selector with options like OBS, Wirecast, vMix, DJI, LiveU, Streamlabs, XSplit and Others.

Depending on the selected software, the panel adapts how it presents the data:

  • OBS, Wirecast, Streamlabs, XSplit, Others: Show the 4 fields separately: RTMP URL, Stream Key, Publishing Username and Password.
  • vMix, DJI, LiveU: The credentials are embedded directly in the RTMP URL. A green message confirms it. You only need to copy the URL and Stream Key.
Security: Your stream data is confidential. If someone gains access to it, they could broadcast on your channel without authorization.
Note: If Username or Password shows "-", your channel does not require those credentials.

Sharing Your Stream

Once you are live, go to the "Share Stream" tab to get:

  • HTML embed code (iframe): Code ready to paste into any website
  • HLS Playback URL: Direct link in M3U8 format
  • HLS CDN Playback URL: If your channel has CDN enabled with Player v2.0
  • Player URL: Direct link to the web player

If you have Player v2.0, you can also customize the player (control color, corporate logo, autoplay).
